We are searching for seasonal Production Labourers to help us during our crazy busy Holiday season!  The seasonal period is from October to January. You must be available a minimum of 3 shifts, including evening and weekend shifts throughout the holiday period. This availability requirement does not guarantee hours and schedules will be based on the needs of the business.

About the Job
Responsible for operating one of several production stations such as lamination, stretching, packaging, wiring and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Laminate, stretch and frame canvas prints
• Package artwork
• Ensure timely production, remarkable quality and delivery of end product
• Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety requirements
• Clean and maintain work area
• Perform other duties when required

Gotta Have

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. (high school diploma or equivalent)
• Able to communicate effectively in english (speaking & writing)
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Must have good eyesight and the ability to distinguish subtle changes in color and textures
• Willing to perform a wide variety of duties; a willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Hope You Have

• Knowledge of laminating, framing and stretching artwork an asset

Compensation

$13.00 / hour

Working Conditions

• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.
• Machine operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses and hearing protectors.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Work involves repetitive tasks.
